Etihad Cargo is pleased to offer FreshForward; our dedicated service for the movement of perishables. Etihad Cargo is expert in the transportation of temperature controlled sensitive freight of which the storage and handling is of utmost importance.

FreshForward is designed to simplify the process of moving items such as fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, fish, meat and flowers seamlessly across our global network until they reach their final destination.

The service prioritises the transfer of perishable cargo at our Abu Dhabi hub from the aircraft into a dedicated centre, and subsequently onto refrigerated trucks delivering directly to the customer’s doorstep anywhere in the UAE.

FreshForward is just one of our range of premium products which places the needs of you, our customer, at the forefront.

What does the FreshForward service include?

Some key features of our specialised product are:

• Expedited ramp handling at all points
• Dedicated perishables centre in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
• Shipments transported from aircraft to storage with priority (AUH 60 minutes)
• Late dispatch from storage to aircraft with priority (AUH 60 minutes)
• Track & Trace capability
• Adapted temperature control on freight and wide-body aircraft 
• Import/Export under one roof
• Temperature Controlled Storage Space
• Contingency plans in place for any operational delays.
• 24/7 Call Centre
• REEFER RFS schedule and ADHOC availability between AUH/DXB/DWC/SHJ

Also, for an additional fee, customers can benefit from the following upon request:

• Dry Ice packing
• Active containers and Thermal Blankets
• To-Door service in the UAE (minimum weight applies)
